Water daily for the first two weeks.

After the second week, it is only necessary to water once a week.

It is possible to over-water plants, so when watering use good judgement as to how much they are receiving, usually one minute of water per plant is adequate.


Seeded Lawns

Water daily for the first three weeks.  To ensure that the lawn is constantly moist, two waterings might be necessary on hot or windy days.

After the third week it is only necessary to water 2-3 times per week, until the grass has a good base.

Try to avoid watering at night, as it makes it easier for fungus to grow on your lawn.  These fungi can harm and potentially kill your seed, ruining your lawn.
